Back-Up Care is designed to be used when your care arrangements for your child(ren) or adult dependants are not available or you don't have care in place and need emergency cover. The programme can also provide assistance for you should you face a situation where you need some assistance.
The programme includes nannies, nurseries and play schemes for children aged up to 17 years. It also covers adult care by Personal Care Assistants for those aged 18+. You can organise care reservations from 60 days in advance and up to and including the day the care is required.
All employees are eligible for up to 20 credits of care per dependent per calendar year at no cost to you. 1 credit can be used as follows:
We recommend that you register yourself and your dependant’s information with Bright Horizons Work+Family before you make a booking, so they have your details.

Your employer credentials are needed for registering (your UID and work email). For full details of the registration process, view the guide.
Once you have registered you will need to add details of your dependant/s (full name, date of birth and any medical details of relevance) before back-up care can be requested.
