Exercise has proven benefits for both physical and mental health and is important for overall wellbeing. To make it easier to stay fit, we offer a free onsite gym for staff at our London head office, along with subsidised membership for external gyms via both Nuffield Health and Gymflex, which covers over 3,000 UK gyms.
The subsidy is available to to all employees and ranges from £20–30 per month (depending on your salary). The membership fee is paid through salary sacrifice, which means you can save on National Insurance.
Important points to note:
To use the onsite gym – you must select the onsite gym via Spectrum; you can join at any time; you can also chose to add membership to your local external Nuffield Gym at the subsidised rate at any time.
For subsidised membership of an external gym – Gymflex memberships are for a fixed 12-month term; you can select this benefit at any time via Spectrum.
The subsidy will be applied to your selected Nuffield Health or Gymflex membership, not both.
