For With Nuffield Health, the on-site Physiotherapist is available to either be covered for employees by BNP Paribas Private Medical Cover or a self-pay options for employees and contractors.

If you are using your Private Medical Cover:

1. Before arranging treatment, either call the AXA Health Personal Advisory Team on 0800 068 6255; or register / logon to your online account using your e-mail address and membership number. It is important you contact AXA Health before seeing the specialist or having treatment so that they can tell you what benefit is available, meaning you don't end up having to pay for costs you're not expecting.
2. When you contact AXA Health, have your open referral information from your GP to hand when you call, or including it when you submit your claim online.
3. To book your appointment, AXA Health will need to share some personal information with the specialist including medical information. In some circumstance, you may prefer to make the appointment yourself. If you book your own appointment, call the Nuffield Health Bookings Team on 0345 045 4845.
4. A short telephone-based triage assessment will take place, and the Nuffield Health team will then book your initial Physiotherapy consultation directly with the on-site clinic.

If you are self-paying:

1. Call the Nuffield Health Bookings Team on 0345 045 4845.
2. A short telephone-based triage assessment will take place, and the Nuffield Health team will then book your initial Physiotherapy consultation directly with the on-site clinic.
3. For the first appointment, you will need to pay over the phone or in-person using a credit / debit card. Cash is not accepted.

You must be an AXA Health member to use this service and you do not require a GP referral. To self-refer to their muscles, bones and joints service, you can register / login to the AXA Health membership portal. You will need your AXA Health membership number.
