Through our benefits and policies, we encourage our employees to make the most of discounted travel and loan schemes to build a work-life balance to suit all situations. At BNP Paribas, we aim to make travelling to and from the office as stress-free as possible whilst supporting the environment, as well as ensure you have the means to be able to work from home and the office accessible.
Choose a certificate value between £100 and £1,000 on the Cyclescheme website to spend on your bike and/or safety equipment. We recommend finding the products you want before choosing the value required.
Once you have chosen your certificate, Cyclescheme will e-mail you instructions to show how to securely access it. This will arrive three weeks after the benefit has taken effect.
You will then use your certificate number to order your Cycle to Work package in store or online. During the redemption process, you will be required to sign your Hire Agreement. Once signed, you will be able to collect your goods or complete the order process online.

Through the Bank’s car-leasing businesses we are able to offer discounted, bespoke UK vehicle breakdown cover through the AA. You can select cover for up to 3 vehicles including cars, motorcycles and light vans (< 3.5 tonnes and under <2.3 metres in width). Loans are available (interest-free up to £10,000) to assist you when purchasing an annual season ticket to travel between your home and primary work location.
Bicycles up to a maximum value of £10,000 are provided under the government’s Cycle to Work initiative via Cyclescheme. The aim is to offer tax and National Insurance savings to encourage wider use of bicycles for environmentally transport. In addition, BNP Paribas offers a further upfront discount to the cost of the bike. At least 50% of its use should be for, or at least for part of, your journey to work. The cost to you is spread across 12 months through salary reductions. Although the bicycle will be owned by BNP Paribas, after a period of 12 months you have the option to buy the bicycle or extend the hire agreement for a fixed period.

Travel insurance is available to all employees and is provided by Millstream. It is for leisure travel outside of work and offers you the following cover options for you, your partner and children (up to age 21 or 25 if in full-time education):
Worldwide gadget insurance is provided by Crispin Speers & Partners. It is a cost-effective way to protect an unlimited number of your gadgets. Cover protects against theft, loss, breakdown and accidental damage. You can select between two cover levels: Standard or Premier. Both levels include any immediate family who permanently reside with you.
Gadgets insured include iPads, games consoles, smart phones, laptops, tablets, smart watches, headphones and more. There is no limit to the number of gadgets insured and there is no requirement to register any of them. However, all gadgets must have a commercial receipt and be either:
